Desktop for Tilt Five - is a simple program, made in Unity that allows you to view your desktop on your game board.

Controls -

Mode 0 - Scale the image or rotate in 90 degree increments using the Joystick.

Mode 1 - freely Tilt the screen & smoothly rotate it with the Joystick.

Mode 2 - While pointing the wand at the desktop image and holding the trigger, freely position it where you like, pulling it in or out using the Joystick.

Button '1' - changes the modes (although pressing the trigger automatically flips to mode 3).

Button 'X' - changes between 2 monitors (but only if you have 2 monitors connected to your pc.

Button 'B' - Resets the view to it's original orientation.

Tilt Five System Button - calls up the menu allowing you to close the application.

You cannot interact with the desktop with the wand, for that, use your mouse and keyboard.

V0.2 Change Log.

Changed the Menu

Added Instructions inGame from the Menu

Changed Skybox

Added Warnings for Wand Disconnect & Glasses Disconnect

Small Change to controls - You can now Push or Pull the screen when not pointing at screen but in mode 2 (refered to as mode 3 inGame).

V0.3 Change Log.

App dectects players orientation & board size & changes Menu & Wand disconnect Advisory locations accordingly.

If Gameboard Layout is set to XE Raised, Menu and Wand disconnect Advisory are locked to the default veiwing angle.

Note. if you change which side of the board your viewing the Desktop from, the Desktop rotation will not change automatically (Only Menus and Advisory notices change automatically). Use the controls to orient the Desktop accordingly.

Glasses Disconnect Advisory location is now fixed to the Tilt Five Camera so it should be centre screen of game window, no matter where your looking at the time of disconnection.

Removed default directional light which caused Wand Disconnect Advisory to not be lit adequately from some locations.

Let me know if it's useful.

Thanks for this!

I have a half-baked idea to take a split screen multiplayer game like Project Zomboid and just chop up the desktop in 4th's to send it out to different Tilt Five seats. I just realized a few minutes ago that this could be a general feature completely independent of Zomboid.

Thank you for this demonstration app Tom!

I am exploring using it to see how I might want to incorporate it into fun and work. Thoughts after five minutes:

* Might want to add a "sharpen" filter to the Unity app. Desktop black-on-white text combined the tilt-5 color and brightness capabilities results, for me, in a washed-out effect. Zooming helps me discern the text. I wonder if there is a way to avoid the need to zoom with a sharpness filter.

* Have you considered "pinning" a single window to the Tilt Five viewport? E.g. Is there a way to choose just one window's Texture, given to Unity from the uWindowCapture plugin, for rendering?

* Have you encountered this issue:

On my system I see one eye (L) as blurry, and the other as crisp. I am using Windows 11, app v0.3, and drivers 1.3.3.

EDIT: Critical detail, I am using the "XE" (tall) display board.
